 I am an amateur competitor and personal trainer. I believe that fitness is a mind/body/lifestyle matter, it all has to be integrated. This is a great site for info and motivation!

 How did you get that after body through youre eating program. Your before shot is similar to where I was. I have lost and Im amazed how similar our bodies are.  I am really glad you were able to acheive your goal. I am trying to be where you are at now. I would love to compete someday. It is hard with a 5 year old and 8 month old. Maybe we can keep in touch and you can give me some advice. I weigh 152 and am 5'3. I don't have alot of weight to lose it is just muscle mass I need. The only place I need to lose weight is my thighs. I am happy for you. You look great!!!!!!!!!

 asimmer how long did it take you to get definition. Was that one of your goals when you first started exercising. Did you start off with weight lifting or may be videos, etc. Willfully you don't mind the question. Your achievement is great. I working on getting definition. If possible to talk with you being a woman and all about what I'm doing and may be helping me as I go along would be great. I just read about your website I go check it out.

You look great. You are such an inspiration to me. It would be great if you could tell me whether my nutritional plan is right. Ft suggested that i take 1918 total calories protein 144 fat around 23 carbs around 288. This is more than what i'm taking now!!!. I'm on a weight loss plan. I'm 24yrs old-wt 144lbs-ht 159cms. I'm having a hard time getting my fat intake to 23g. Can you tell me if this plan will help me loose weight?? I feel its a lil too much. Yes- i forgot the exercise part.I run 3miles 4x a week and do weights 2x a week. My work involves moderate activity.Thanks in advance.

 I am trying to lose 30 lbs of fat and I have already lost 35 lbs in the past. I cannot get that fat burning process started back again. I am 46 5'7 and weigh 192. I am eating right and going by the foods on the "grocer List"by bb1fit. Do you think I should stop eating Cream of Weat,Oatmeal,Walnuts and Peanut Butter? These foods are high in complex carbs and also high in fat. But they are on the grocer list!

 All I can say is - WOW!!!! You look FABULOUS!!!! I'm 47 yrs old, have 1 8 yr old 3 5 yr. old sons and going to the gym just isn't an option. Like Diane, I was wondering if using weights at home - weight bench w/fly attachments, leg raise attachments and bench press, plus a stationary bike will do the job. I don't have to lose weight, and don't want to compete, just get lots of lean muscle. Thanks. Deni

 Lift weights every other day and do cardio on the days inbetween.

The best time to do cardio, IMO, is when it fits into your schedule and you will stick with it.

Also, vary the type and intensity and time of your cardio sessions. You will get better results.

There is a lot of information about cardio on the boards - start in the FAQs section and do some reading.

 Amy, I want to be 145 by the time i am done w/ my loss.. i was almost up to 200 (198)and i am only 4'11" .. I know there are a ton of health risks.. I am currently trying to lose w/ diet change, and exercise and i am down to 190.. Please if you could help me i would really apprecitate it. i really need toneing, i have had 5 kids... my abs are shot.. i don't know if i will ever get the skin to shrink or not.. but i do want my abs to be better... any help you can lend would be great!  I just had a baby, and before i got pregnant i was in a size 5.. and well now i am not quite that small.. i hope to be back into that size 5 or with my hips now proabably atleast a size 7... i know it might take time.. but im just wondering how long it took you before you began to notice a difference in your body? and how long before you were completely happy with it? and i was wondering if you had any tips for me to kind of speed up the process so that i can be happier with myself.. for me and my son?? by the way you look amazing!! i can't believe the difference in your pictures

 I haven't seen a response yet, could you give me a rough estimate of how long apart the before and after shot is? I am making this change for good, or at least I hope to. I'm just wondering how long it would take to see some initial results. The calorie intake is higher than when I was pregnant, it's a little scary with low activity levels.

 I am just starting to get back in the swing of lifting and getting more definition and muscle mass, and my sister is into lifting and fitness competitions and things like that, and she suggested NO Xplode as a supplement. I've heard mixed things about it but i was wondering about some key concerns I had:
1. if for some reason i stop taking it, will that have an impact on my muscles or my metabolism?
2. is it a good idea to maybe lift on my own for a while before taking supplements so i dont injure myself, or is it pretty safe?
3. will taking no xplode as well as lifting 3-4 days a week make me bulk up like a man??

 I have a constructive suggestion to improve FREE TRAINER's printable daily workout sheets....Add a small picture or 'stick-figure' drawing that describes the exercise beside the name of that exercise. I think this would help beginners like me because I many times have trouble remembering exactly what the exercise is by just the name. I draw these stick figures myself and sometimes add a note, like "overhand grip", or "pause 2-seconds", etc.

Just a suggestion.

I would be really grateful if you can give me some advice on diet, weights, supplements etc, you have used. I want to lose 2 stones and be very tonned and alot less body fat. I also need to know how I can increase my heart rate to a fat burn or cardio percentage. my heart rate never reaches cardio and barely reaches fat burn even if i feel the work out.

asimmer! i am 40 yr old, 140 lb, and 5.4 tall. i eat healthy and workout 5 days/week and cardio as well. my queston to you is since i workout from 6.30-7.30 pm should my dinner include carbs? i am a pear shape and am on my way to make it more symetric with lots of hard work.
