:)i've recently started taking acai berry pills because its supposed to be good about boosting ur energy naturally and washing harmful toxins 4rm ur body i would just like to hear ppls comments on this its the only thing i'm taking besides my multivitamins w/diet and excercise!:)

You know it works if Oprah says so! I do think Acai berry is good for you, just wonder to myself that all the other products that hit the market as a next 'superfood' after that runs out they start saying how it can make you lose weight. Funny how noone does though, but the next super/wonder food that comes out they will be rushing out to buy it for the marketing reasons rather than the real health reasons.

I haven't tried acai berry, but green tea is an anti-oxidant as well, and some of it's marketing has promoted it for weight loss as well. All it does is give you caffeine (which helps my energy level, thus making me more likely to work out), and helps keep you healthy by supporting your immune system. Acai is basically an anti-oxidant, so similar results would probably show. Not sure it has caffeine though.

One of green teas claims is its lack of caffeine. I have also recently read that adding lemon to green tea enhances the benefits.
