19/33...Upper body
Made it thru another weekend, but can't say I was an angel. I've still managed to avoid drinking beer, but I did have 3 glasses of Merlot and 2 lite lemonade drinks. I'm still considering these 33 days a transition period, so I'm doing OK. My workouts over the weekend consisted of cleaning house and moving furniture. Diet was typical for my weekends. I really need to improve my weekend diet. When I return from my up coming holidays mid August, I'm going to start logging what I actually eat/drink on the weekends, timing, food everything. I plan to go hard core in September, so this will help determine why I fall apart on the weekends.
Todays workout:
3min on elliptical
3 sets pushups 12/10/10
3 sets asst pull ups, wide grip 90X12/80X10/80X10 (I haven't done wide grip in a while, the change was challenging)
3 sets mach pec flies 12X45/10X50/8X50
3 sets seated cable rows with easy bar 12X50/10X60/8X70
...arms getting very tired!
3 sets rot cuff inner rotations 12X3lb/10X5lb/10X5lb (this is still really tough on the left side!)
3 sets overhead presses, single arm 12X8lb/10X8lb/8X8lb(could barely get the last reps in on the left side, right was easy)
3 sets rope pushdowns for triceps 12X4010X45X50
3 sets EZ bar curls 12X30lb/10X30lb/8X30lb
...arms quivering at this point
finished with some ab bridginge and oblique bridging
Stretch to cool down
Diet on track today.
