Well I decided if I'm gonna do this right, I'd better write πsometimes in my Flog since I'm a rather forgetful personπ.
I did one month of a introductional plan from Freetrainers just to get my body used to working out again. I recently switched to a more advanced Mass Building workout and finished the first two days. I have to say I like the workouts so far...I'm motivated and I've already noticed SMALL π changes since I started a little over a month ago. It's amazing how quickly muscle memory comes back. I know there will come a time when I plateau but for now I'm pretty happy with the progress ππΎ I'm making. I was quite embarrassed π³ the first time I started again and the weights I THOUGHT π€π I should be lifting was NOWHERE near what I could actually lift ππΎββοΈ. Humbling experience to say the least haha π.
Anyway let's see π how I progress with my little "self experiment" of lifting without changing my diet. I actually eat π½ fairly (ππ»π)healthy anyway, but I don't REALLY wanna change my eating habits since I'm in pretty decent shape (thanks mom and dad for the great geneticsππΎ) and my doctor says I'm in good health...so why should I? I'm doing this more out of vanity π than health reasons to be honest. I am a 44 year old former professional basketball player βΉπ½ββοΈ who is now a teacher π¨πΎβπ«...why would I deprive myself of the food that I like? To be HEALTHIER? Nah..at least for the moment I will pass π€πΎ...and that's not a knock on anyone that has revamped their diet or something like that...just my personal choice...who knows π€·πΎββοΈ, I might change my mind after a year...let's see...
