3/5/07 - Monday.....Love Them Mondays
Today started off wonderful, I was ready to meet my girlfriend at 1:30 for our workout which we have been trying to get together for almost two and a half weeks or so now. Get to her house and she is stuck on a conference call!!!! UGGGHHHHHHH!!!
That is okay though, I wasn't able to get her to workout, had to pick up her son, single mom, ya-dah, ya-dah, ya-dah, BUT I did get her to join my gym FINALLY! I refused to leave her house until she signed up which ended up being a total of 2 1/2 hours there! LOL!
Thought my workout was shot as I knew the rest of the evening was pretty much out, I was still able to hit the gym and do a partial of my workout, here goes:
Warm-ups: push ups 10 (5 regular, 5 on knees), 10 incline bench.
Exercise Reps:
Incline DB Presses 15x16/12x20/10x30/6x40
Incline Flyes 12x16/10x20/8x30
Bentover Rows 15x16/12x20/10x30/8x30 got tired on last set.
DB Overhead Presses 15x10/12x16/12x20
I missed the Wide Grip Pulldowns & Side Lats (will try and do those tomorrow)
Stretches: all complete plus pilates abs before bed.
Diet:
1 egg, 4 egg whites scrambled in olive oil cooking spray with 1/2 cup spinach and 1/2 cup oatmeal w/1 splenda
1/2 grapefruit & 1/2 cup raw almonds
1 Protein shake w/4 strawberries, 1/2 apple, 1/2 orange, 2 scoops whey protein.
1 cup Italian leaf salad w 1/4 cubed chicken, 1/4 cup blueberries and LF balsamic vinegar dressing.
1 6 oz filet mignon, 2 cups steamed veges( broccoli, squash, carrots) 1/4 cup wild rice.
1 protein drink (1 scoop whey protein & water)
My diet wasn't as good as it should've been but am getting used to it, should be progressing better as the days go on. I am still finding it hard to eat all of this food for some reason. I have to force myself the majority of the time and then at other times, my stomach is growling, aching, awaiting it's next fill, go figure!
All in all, today was a great day, with a FABULOUS ENDING!!!!
