So I admit that I really didn't want to go to the gym today. But tomorrow I get to rest so that was my motivation, I didn't want to workout tomorrow and take an early rest day. But I got there in the end.
I did 20 minutes on the cross trainer listening to the soundtrack of The Lion King and I think it helped because I was imagining that I was running fast through a jungle. I'm going to listen to my music more often when I'm doing cardio. The music at the gym isn't my cup of tea...
For strength:
Abs:
3x15 crunches on exercise ball. Wanted to try a variation on my normal crunches. It was a lot harder with the exercise ball.
3x15 twisting crunches
3x15 lying front kicks
Legs
3x16 Leg curls I started holding for 2 seconds for each rep and I found it a lot more challenging for all my leg exercises.
3x16 Leg extentions
3x16 Leg press
3x16 Calf raises
Then to cool down I did 10 minutes of yoga.
