Another day at the gym... or evening

After tuesday workout, it was nice to have wednesday off. I'm not used to doing crunches with weight, and seated twists with weights is a challenge too. My midsection was soooo sore. Today, thursday, gave me more abs and then legs. I haven't done barbell squats before, just smith mashine ones, and I didn't know if I could do it without a squat-rack. It did go well though, but I would have wanted more weight. Lifting 22.5 kg over your head, onto your sholders, do the squats and then lift the barbell over your head again, is a bit overwhelming.

It feels good to workout. It feels better to do more in one day, and then rest, than working out every day. Today my weight was down to 71.6 kg. Tha's the lowest since I started loosing weight and working out. I know the scale isn't the perfect tool, but I like to use it as a guide. It helps to keep me motivated, that and the measuring tape.
