Another Gorgeous Day!
I'm a bit stiff from my leg session (damn those jump squats) on Monday and a very tough swim last night. It's so nice out I decided to go for a bike ride at lunch today. Did our usual 20km route (took about 50min of good solid cycling). No swimming tonight....thank God!
I'm still having a tough time figuring out when to fit in my wt training. I don't want to tire myself out for swimming, which I do M,T,Th and I'd like to ride either Wed or Fri....and I like to golf Friday..and Sat I run afternoons.....guess I'll just continue to play it by ear and do what feels right. My swimming will be cut to just Tues/Thurs starting in June, so maybe that'll help. I guess part of the problem is that I'm just getting back into things, so maybe once I get used to it again I won't have a problem doing wts and swimming on the same day...for now, I'll just listen to my body.
Diet is still going extremely well (currently munching on a store bought salad with mixed greens, chicken, walnuts, pine nuts, strawberries and blueberries....they call it a Muskoka Chicken Salad....ahh to be in Muskoka right now.
Very pleased with how things are going!
