Attempt 2, day 1
Hello Fitties
I logged in today for the first time in over a year, I lost 2 stone the last time and have probably gained 4 or 5 lbs since then but that was a year ago so I am not disappointed in the result. What i am disappointed in is that I reached 80% of my goal but stopped too soon, work/life/weather/temptation etc got in the way and I stopped the hard work. I need not to be too hard on myself because I still maintained a healthy lifestyle (mostly) and I have returned to get back on it and nail my final 20%! I need your help, and it worked last time, so here I am :)
This morning I got up really early, had a protein shake, went for a 90 minute jog/power walk and returned home for a breakfast of 3 poached egg whites and 4 sesame rivita with low fat butter. I am now updating with my flog as I sip a green tea, ready to jump in the shower when I am finished.
What I learned from changing my lifestyle 18 months ago is that if I am organised I will succeed; keeping the fridge stocked with healthy and tasty food, planning my meals, taking my lunch to work, getting up early enough for breakfast and exercise and making allowances for the odd gin and tonic (slimline, of course!) all make it so much easier. I really enjoyed it last time, not only because of the huge results but the buzz i got from exercise, people I met along the way, the incredible support people gave me and my new-found confidence as a healthier, slimmer, happier person.
