Did the following on Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Wandered into the gym this morning for my first workout (excluding Agatsu) in two full weeks.

My cold is 95% gone, but I think there are still some issues when it comes to getting winded. None the less.... I worked out.

Fillin' In the Gaps I

Start: 7:08am
Finish: 8:10am

Warm Up: ten minutes of joint mobility stuff which included shoulder, trunk, hips and legs.

Practice: Various body weight movements for ten minutes which included the Quad Hop and Pistol Squats

Circuit: I set up a small circuit to get me back into this using a 20kg bell for the swings and thrusters.

Swings: 20
Chins: 5
Tuck Jump Burpees: 5
Thrusters: 5
60 second rest

I rolled through that three times with the following times: 3:10/3:59/4:39. Ya, I know I can do this faster. Half of the challenge was mental.

Stretch & Roller: 19:00 minutes

Kinda dig the whole bell/body weight thing.

Warm Up: 10 minutes Joint Mobility - BW squats/Neck/Shoulders/Tru nk/Hips/Legs

Practice: 10 minutes Body Weight Movements - Side to side/Quad Hop/Hand Balance/Wall Crawls/Pistols

Circuit with 20kg Bell

Swings x20
Tuck Jump Burpees x5
Chins x5
Clean and Press x5/side

Times were 3:10/4:27/5:19 with a minute rest between

Stretch & Roller: 16:30

Thoughts: Looks as though I may have found some circuits I'll like. I'll do them for time and see if I can a) drop them below three minutes and b) add two more rounds.
