back at it....and goals for 2007....
And so it starts again. Felt like one of the newbies at the gym today, didn't even feel I had the right to bitch and complain about all of the people in the gym since it's been a month since I've been there! One of the bonuses though is that most newbies are doing cardio, so the wt room, although busy, was managable.
Here's what I did (taking things a bit easy to start back)
4 min on treadmill-light run
walking lunges
cable rows
SL dead lifts
lat pull downs
EZ bar curls
BB squats
Generally did 12 reps / 3 sets at a wt I could handle. i found I was very stiff, so it's going to take me a bit to get back to where I was.
I'm back to my Masters swimming tonight as well. Hope my coach takes it easy on us....
Goals for 2007
Compete in 2 sprint triathlons
Get 5km run under 25min
Compete in 1 swim meet
1 unassisted chinup
remain injury free
continue to live an active and healthy lifestyle
Feels very good be able to get back into a routine
