Backtrack: 5/16 and 5/17
My Roommate Maegan and I went to the Gym to sign up and feel really good about getting started to get in shape together. We tried out some of the weight machines and ran on the elliptical and seated cycles for a little while, just trying to get a feel for the gym. Pretty cool feeling knowing we have the ability (even with her ten month old baby Parker) to get back in good shape!
Started the day out feeling pretty lousy. My back wasn't bothering me but I didn't feel much like working out, and with Parker having to get tested for whooping cough we can't bring him to the daycare at the gym... bummer. I was trying to watch how much i eat so i'm not overdoing it on junk anymore and switched from a soda to a propel water. I came home and Maegan and i laid around for a little bit (working 7 to 4 kind of wore me out!) and then I had to get up and do something. I couldn't take it. I didn't want to lose the good habit i was trying to form! i told maegan i'd be back in an hour, and went to the gym. I ran on the elliptical for 45 minutes and then did a cool down on the treadmill. Felt pretty good!
