Burpees

Nine sets of ten.
Over the past 90 days, here are some things I've noticed.
- On more than one occassion, I've wanted to quit.
- I have had discomfort in various areas, knees, shoulder, wrists... probably due to a combination of the 5x5 I'm doing and the burpees. Perhaps next time (if there is one), take a lighter approach to the weight training portion to focus strictly on the demands of the burpees.
- One can do fitness without any excuses. I was thinking about this today. Over the past 90 days I've had lots on the go. Two jobs, we went camping, my shifts at work have been swung around, I've had travel, company, dinners, events and the whole entire time I have not missed one day. There are still ten to go, so anything can happen, but not once have I missed a day with life providing me with more excuses than I've had before.
Fitness is doable, even if it's just (ha! - just!) burpees. They are challenging. Those that know about this challenge at my gym can't believe I'm doing this. They keep giving me the 'he's crazy' look.
Barring any injury or otherwise, they will be done. November 12th will be a complete day of nothing with the 13th being the last day of my 5x5.
Wonder what I'll do on the 14th?
