Gees, no training today, to much other crap going on.
Start the year off with Kidney Stones and High Blood Pressure. Stones passed and kidneys are clear; they were also the reason for the high blood pressure; so, my blood pressure has been normal since they passed, but the doc had put me on B/P meds, and the messed me up for awhile. B/P of 99-109 over 58-68 was a problem. Anyway, no meds and the B/P is normal. Dislocated my kneecap 3 times since Dec..X-Rays, Therapy, MRI, met with 6 different Orthopaedic Surgeons-nobody will touch me. The knee needs to be replaced, but concerns of age outweigh doing it. I am still NOT giving up on this problem. I need to change insurance carriers next.
Gall Bladder attack 2 months ago, went away and figured it as bad gas. Gall Bladder attack again Sunday night; lasting 6 hours. Blood work, and Ultrasound showed stones, and raised level of somethnig that flagged Pancreatitis(sp).. Met with Surgeon today, Surgeon found a hernia in the belly button; I guess this is due to having a big belly. Well, surgery is scheduled for next Friday; yippee...Remove Gall Bladder, and fix hernia...I am scheduled for this to be done through a scope, so, recovery should be quicker. If for some reason they have to open me up, I will be out of action for quite some time..
I hope that the last year spending time eating better, and exercising, pays off on the recovery time. 3 steps forward 2 steps back. Life goes on, change the things you can, and accept the things you can't...Man, that saying is getting really hard to swollow.
Peace All
