Cardio vs Weights

Ok, I am at a loss as to how to proceed here. I have plateau'd with my previous workout and I am looking to lose some more weight, as well as get toned. I know it is time to add in some weight training but I don't want to stop doing the cardio part of it. Should I do cardio the 5 days a week like normal, and then do weight training after? Should I only do weights 2 to 3 times a day and stick with cardio the other 2 to 3 days? What's the happy medium?
