So, day 1! Even after just about 4.5 hours of sleep, I FORCED myself up, and into my basement workout area this morning!! Yay me!!
It wasn't an hour, but 35 minutes or so, which is better than nothing!
In my basement, I have a Bowflex, a rowing machine, a treadmill, kickboxing setup, and various other little things.
I HATE the treadmill - seems so pointless to be doing all that walking, and going nowhere! LOL :P
I use to start off with that, as a warm up, but I think I'll focus on the rowing machine and bowflex for a bit. And starting tomorrow (after I get some pepper spray tonight), I think Im going to try kicking off my day with a brisk walk around my neighborhood at about 530am, and THEN the basement :)
Today I rowed for a total of about 20 minutes,broken into 10 minute segments, between which I did about 15 minutes of weight lifting. I also did 105 total crunches and "side crunches" :P
And then I WALKED my kiddo to school, and back! :)
I feel good!
Goals for this week are going to be to get my office a bit more "prepared" for short 5 minute workouts during the day when I have downtime (I work from home). I have a yoga mat, 2 fitness balls, and a whole BUNCH of other stuff right here at my fingertips, so there's really no excuse!
