Day 1 done and dusted.

Weigh in this morning-106kg.......it's only down from here!

Balanced diet throughout the day and a 25min cycle home from work.

This week will be about food and cycling to/from work. Next week will start to include some weight training. Anyone have any pointers on gaining muscle mass for a vegetarian? In the past I just get skinny.

    You don't have to lose weight while training being a vegetarian. If you have a bit of fat to lose then initially you will look like you are getting skinnier, however you are losing the fat and toning the muscles. Now on to eating for weight training. Make sure you eat 20 to 30 grams of protein after your workouts. This helps to build the muscle mass after, eat carbs/protein mix at about 3/5 ratio for most meals. Also fruits are great to keep you going throughout the day.
