Day before the change

Well this is the day before I start not my diet, but my new lifestyle that I hope will carry on for the rest of my life. I'm very nervous and scared to be honest about starting this long journey ahead of me. I just know this though, I'm overweight, unfit and unhappy and whilst I am young, I want to finally do something about it and succeed. I just also want to wish everyone luck who, as myself, is trying to lose weight and get fit and motivated and shed those pounds. It's not easy..as I already know and am sure going to find out but then again in life somethings are never easy. Life is what you make of it and I sure aren't going to fail and give in!! Giving up is for losers..and I sure aint a loser. Thanks for reading, bye :)!

    Welcome Lucy, I know it is a hard road to travel, more mental than anything else and it will be tough on a daily basis. Keep at it and stay disciplined and your goals will be met. Just remember too, everyone has been where you are now and started at the beginning, went through the challenges and came out on top. Believe me, when you start seeing the fruits of your labor, it will make you so happy and you will start feeling so much better. You'll start noticing stuff on a daily basis, extra energy, not waking up exhausted as if you didn't sleep, being able to pick something up you weren"t able to before. Stay focused on keeping your diet clean and don't deprive yourself of your little treats, just make better decisions in what to eat and the portion size. Everything in moderation and you will do great! Keep us updated!
