So....not sure if this will be an every day thing or not, but right now, I'm two for two! My second day is not quite finished yet. In fact, I will most likely be up for a long time. I woke up at a reasonable hour for a change, not too early, but not too late either. After having a quick breakfast, I did my routine from here. It was much easier than I remember it being last time I was on here, but I still ache a little. My body is pretty pissed at me at the moment, but I'm sure with time we'll reconcile our differences and start working together again.
After the workout, I found that I still had time for a nice long shower before work, and, since we've had a nice mild winter, I bundled up and walked to work instead of driving. I have never been one for walking....I find that I can't do it if I don't have a purpose. Since I was on my way to work today, I managed to actually enjoy it and even made it faster than I had anticipated.
My job has always kept me fairly active and busy. I serve at a restaurant which is always busy, so I am on my feet my whole shift, often running, or at the very least, walking briskly. I know you can't really count work as exercise though...I was told once it needs to be something that your body is not used to on a daily basis. So, I will probably try to do a bit more tonight before going to bed. Maybe the routine again.
As for the eating.....God I love food! I have, however, still managed to make decent decisions and even when eating out, have managed to steer clear of anything too bad. Subway saladas are my new favourite thing to order out. For now I am going to nurse the wounds of this new schedule I am trying to adhere to, and get a bit of rest so I can get back to it tomorrow.
