Digestion and Work-Outs

I've heard that digestion stops when you're working out so its not a good idea to eat before you exercize but we need some fuel to burn and not get weak. What would you recommend? And about how much time does it take to digest boiled egg?

    Hello Well my dad is a surgeon and he has suggested me to drink a glass of milk before, but I guess it's up to you what you want to eat and depends on the kind of exercise you do as well. I usually wait two hours after I eat, and when I feel like I'm starving I drink a little milk, a banana or a spoon of peanut butter it works at least for a while.
