Deadlifts 3 sets, 10x115 ea
superset with
Incline Chest Press, 3 sets, 10x30,10x30,10x30
Bulgarian split squats: 3 sets, 10x20's ea. superset with
Mixed grip lat pulldowns: 3 sets, 10x100,10x100,10x100
RDL's: 3 sets, 10x95 ea. superset with
Swiss Ball Lateral Rolls: 3 sets (did full sets for once--10 to each side is much more doable). I am getting good at these and I even like them now, but everyone else still hates them.
I think I'm pretty much the only one who adhered to the 45 second rest. In fact, I didn't take real breaks, maybe grabbed some water then moved to the next thing. The others were taking chat breaks and apparently they don't think this workout is challenging enough for them, or they were just feeling bench press deprived, because they started doing bench press in between the Romanian deadlifts and the lateral rolls. Cindy is always working inclined pushups in between everything (although she doesn't go down more than halfway), so I told her she was going to love next week's workout and demo'd the T pushups with and without dumbbells. Hey...I actually did really well and impressed the hell out of them. Our dumbbells aren't hexes--they have 10 sides, so what would that be? Decagon? Decahedron? Anyway, because the sides are so short, they don't really offer that much stability, but still better than round.
Tomorrow is our day off...although while I'm sleeping the others will be spinning. They can't get enough of spin class, it seems. Do I sound a little bitchy?
I have a 1:00 p.m. appointment to earn my CPR card. So, yea, I'm leaving work early and I am not going back. The training takes place at some guys house just a couple of miles down the road from my house, so I'm also not going back to the gym tonight.
