Okay,I started NROL FLIII on Monday, but am just getting a chance to log. Been really busy at work. Tons of reports due today...I'm almost done, but I can steal a few minutes.

Let me just say, Day 1, Workout A--a disaster! We started late and by the time we finished the first giant set routine it was time to get ready for work. So...I went back in the afternoon to finish the second giant set routine. Both workouts kicked my butt in a major way. The first one made me sick to my stomach and shaky. I do believe the heat is having a serious impact here.

Workout B went much better, but still, I didn't finish on time and did the second half after work. Squats aren't nearly as debilitating as DL's are for me (by the time you've finished Workout A you've done 80 DL's--that is just sick!)

Today I made sure I was early ? started at 5:15 instead of 5:45. I got through it and finished right on time without feeling like I was going to die. I did this by not fretting too much if I had to take a rest here and there. I still got a heart pounding workout with enough energy left to get ready for work.

Here?s what it looked like:

1st Giant Set:
DL's: 4 sets total, 10x115 ea.
Explosive Pushups: 4 sets, 10 ea. (not sure anyone watching would have used the descriptor 'explosive' but my hands did leave the ground)
Bulgarian Split Squats: 4 sets, 15x10 ea.
2 Pt. DB Rows: 4 sets, 40x10 ea.

(there is not supposed to be any rest until completion of the last exercise of each round, but hell, I did what I had to do and just kept my heart pumping).

2nd Giant set:
DL's: 2 sets, 20x75,20x65 yes, went very light on these and I didn't use the box like I was supposed to. I did on Monday and found it very awkward. Kept tipping up on my toes as I bent down to pick up the bar. I thought I was going to hurt myself.
DB Bench Press: 2 sets, 25'sx20 (25's almost too easy...but 20 reps, I know 30 would have been too much. Maybe next time...)
Walking lunge with sidebend: 2 sets, 20'sx20 (per leg, each set)
Cable rows: 2 sets, 80x20

Hanging leg raises: sort of .. I use that captain's chair thing since I can't hang for very long. These were too easy, though. 2 sets of 10. I'll have to start working on the hang, thang.
