Had a great workout this morning!
Started the day off with a nice simple breakfast: a bowl of oatmeal with 2 tsps of sugar, a bowl of Rasin Bran, 2 strawberries and my douse of C4 pre-workout suppplement, oh and don't forget my Omega 3, Calcium, and multi Vitamins
For my cardio I walked to the gym at a nice pace and then began working on my core ( making sure to do controlled repetitions of sets of 20 at a pace where I could keep a nice cardio feel while really focusing on the muscles I was working). I got a little bummed out with the hanging leg raises because the pull of my body weight on my arms caused me to have to break up the sets.
After that I focused on my shoulders using weights light enough to finish my desired set amounts, but heavy enough to really work my shoulders to the max.
After my workout I took my protein supplements, BCAA, Fish oils, and Flaxseed oil pills
After a couple of hours for a snack I had some dry Cheerios and an apple, followed by a nice peanut butter and jelly sandwich and another apple a couple of hours after that.
A couple of hours after that I had another snack of dry Raisin Bran. For dinner I had a nice salad with 2 tbs of extra virgin olive oil, 1 table spoon of Basalmic vinegar, half a cup of dry oats, 2 cups of spinach, and chopped up apple with seasolt and black pepper. I also had a serving of broccoli, lima beans, and yellowsqaush.
For dessert I had a serving of Caesin protein in a serving of Soy milk (chocolate flavor) which was suprsingly very delicious. Now, while I sleep my body will have a slow release protein to munch and be tricked into burning fat for fuel so that I can wake up a little leaner. :-)
I substitue Soy milk or Almand milk for dairy milk, each one of my meals prior to dinner were roughly 300 calories give or take 5 or 10 calories so I roughly consumed about 2000 calories today and about 84-95 grams of protein of my daily requirement of 87grams, putting me right on target for reaching my goal of 8 % or less body fat.
Let's see what tomorrow brings, now time to rest.
