First Workout

Alright, Howdy everyone,

I am Juan and live in the great state of Texas. This is the first day of my workout and it was everything I expected it to be(challenging but, not difficult) Currently I am working toward losing weight and toning. Since I have been walking/running for about four weeks, instread of running for 20 minutes as recommended by the program, I ran(treadmill) for 30 minutes. Hopefully I can carry this energy level all the way throught the next 8 weeks. Pleas feel free to offer constructive criticism/suggestions.

    The program offers structure and guidelines. You may certainly do more if you are able. The only guideline to that is that I would try to limit strength workouts to 45 minutes. I use the treadmill 45 minutes in addition. You can't really overdo cardiac as long as the pace is safe. In addition to lifting and cardiac, do the activities you enjoy. We enjoy ballroom dance 4 to 6 nights a week.
