Friday's great...but it also means Monday is just around the corner...

Warm up: 3x10 walking lunges
Reg DL's: 4 sets, 15x115,12x115,10x115,8x115
Stationary lunges: 3 sets w/barbell 12x60,10x65,8x70
Side lunges: 3 sets, 12x20's,10x25's,8x50 (went to barbell on the last set)
Step-ups: 12x60,10x60,8x60 (not that I feel a need to, but I pretty much have to stick with the weight I selected because we select our weights in the weight room then carry the loaded barbells (these are the skinny with weights permanently fixed) to the opposite corner of the gym where we set up our steps--it is a big pain, especially returning the weights after we're done. But, we're tough chicks).

Maricela has invited a woman named Josie to join our workouts. She has been really impressed with the dramatic change in our physiques and wants in! Josie was pretty tough, Tuesday with squats and today with deadlifts. I was wary teaching a newbie regular deadlifts since I've only just recently been brave enough to do them myself, but she got the form down very quickly and got through no problem.
