Friday's Workout

Pretended Friday was Wednesday in keeping with the program. My partner and I decided to do our abs first followed by a 55 minute spin class. Well, it is an hour class but with cooldown and stretching, that takes about 5 minutes. Anyway, it was a nice change. I knew I wasn't going to be able to drag myself out of bed in time for the 7:30 class this morning. Wasn't even going to think about trying to do that.

Went to a party at 6:00 p.m. at a heart institute. They served cocktails and dinner. I had a gin and tonic before dinner. Dinner was healthy. Huge salad with balsamic vinagrette (I spelled that wrong), a roll with butter, a huge helping of steamed asparagus. I think it was the best I've ever had...it was tender and crispy. No sauces to muck it up. Oh, yeah, and some tri-tip. I've had beef every day since Christmas day, but at least the tri-tip was much leaner than the prime rib. I only had 3 small pieces, I would guess 5 oz. at most. Then I had a pomegranate martini.

I came home and ate 6 pieces of See's candy. Sorry, KC, I didn't get your comment on tossing them before it was too late. I needed that!
