GAINED WEIGHT !!!

I've been on a diet for 3 weeks now, in which I get my meals from a diet center (1700 calories), and I go to the center for a weekly meeting with my dietitian to follow my progress. I lost a total of 5.3 kg in the 1st 2 weeks but this week I GAINED 0.3 kg :S.
My dietitian told me that it's normal to gain a bit of weight in the short term when you start weight-lifting. That's because muscles are heavier than fat, but on the long run muscles burn calories much faster than fat ( but she reduced my daily carbs). So I shouldn't worry. But I got to admit it is kinda disappointing nevertheless.
Today's workout:
5 min treadmill ( 5.5km/h at 9% climb)
wight-lifting: shoulders
abs: Seated Twists, Leg Raises & Crunches
25 min ( 5.5km/h at 9% climb)
