It's nearly 6 weeks after D-Day and I went back to the gym again - this time with the intent to add more weight, reduce the long delays between sets and stations and add abs back in.
The good news is.. SUCCESS.
The bad news is.. the core is WEAK
But that's not really a bad thing.. I know it'll come back quick enough. It's just frustrating to have those steps back, but regardless. Back on track and back at it.
Tomorrow will be more core work and back work. The next day will be legs. I need hip flexor work and inner/outer quad work. I feel the weakness on the trails, but again, it'll come back quick enough so I'm not worried. 7-10 days and I'll be back on track :)
Tomorrow is core/back, then a long ride on the new bike, then dragonboat practice!
