Here we go!!

Today is day one in stepping back up. I began my fitness journey 1/1/12 trying to get back in shape after having my second child. It's me time, right? By the end of may I had lost 35 lbs and could successfully do 20 pushups (could barely do modified, much less a single full out push up when I began)... Major ass kicking. Exercise and diet were completely on point and I felt the best I had in over 10 years! Haven't figured out my trigger yet, but something happened that made me slack on my food and then slowly my workouts. Stepping on the scale this week I have found out that I have put on 10 lbs in 6 weeks!! How does this happen!?!? Well, as I said, Day 1. We've gotta start somewhere. I woke up this morning and decided today was the day to get back on track. Clean eating all day, 100+ oz of water AND bootcamp and Zumba to boot.. I was asked by a trainer friend to set a 3 month goal. Not a number goal but a size (as we all know, muscle weighs more than fat, yadda, yadda) I went from a size 16 to a 10 and am back to a 12 right now.. My 3 month goal is a size 8 and to compete in my first tough mudder in October. The countdown begins..
