HIIT the hard way :)

Finally tackled the stairs I have been thinking about doing HIIT on for a while now. The stairs are at the dog park, and it is 86 big steps to the top of the hill. I have been thinking for a while it would be a good challenge to sprint up the stairs and recover back down...I have mentioned before that I am a dumbass. I always pick days when I absolutely don't want to do cardio at all to do the hardest thing I can think of...but the positive outcome is that I finish and feel like I am actually accomplishing a better fitness level with all the work I do. :)
So, 15-15 sec sprints up with 45 sec recovery back down, and then we walked for 20 minutes. The zombies would definitely had me for dinner on the last few sprints, but I was stronger and had more endurance than I expected (a passing dog owner on the stairs said "you go, girl, you need some Rocky music!" lol).
