I just want to go home and sleep...or meditate, which would most likely lead to me falling asleep.
Fat Loss IIB kicked my butt. I swore, a lot. Mostly under my breath, but not always. Yes, I said 'Fuck' out loud once or twice. Here's what it looked like:
Snatch Grip Deadlifts: 3 sets 15x115
Okay, Tim, not to get too personal, but did you wear a cup when you were doing these? Cause if I was a guy I would have definitely needed a cup or to have ape arms.
So superset those with:
T-pushups: 3 sets; Here's what I did (and thank God this is one exercise where they don't mean 15 on each side, thank you for that!) Anyway, each set I started with 5 lb. dumbbells until I got to 9,8,7 then finished without the dumbbell. 15 pushups is pretty much my max anyway at this point. But these were actually fun and a joy to do compared to pretty much everything else.
Here's where I started to lose it...
Bulgarian Split Squats with Dumbbell Presses
3 sets; I was so focused on the coordination aspect and getting the dumbbell weight right that I couldn't even tell how my legs were doing. Anyway, the first set I did about 5 per leg then rested briefly until I finished the 15 per leg. I started with 15 lb. dumbbells then used 10 lb. for the last two sets, which went a little faster because we were running out of time fast. I went for speed until the last five reps, during which my arms felt like they were pushing through mud. I got through the fifteen for one leg, took a rest, then resumed with the other leg.
These were superset with underhand lat pulldowns, 3x90 lbs. I could have gone higher on the weights but I was so challenged by the split squats that I gave myself a little break on these.
By now my arms felt like jello and I'm facing:
Romanian Deadlifts with bentover rows:
It took me a couple of attempts to pick the right weight--which I guess I didn't really do because I only managed 8 reps with 60 lbs. for each set. I felt bad about this, so I made up the total reps by doing 20 reps at 40 lbs.
These were superset with the lower body twist thing, which was a picnic in comparison. So, I wasn't totally up to the challenge it seems, but I guess the important thing is that I felt challenged and my heart was up through the whole thing. Gee, can't wait to do this again on Friday.
