Okay, It has been a longtime. I actually was working out before my surgery, but with logging it in my workout book during the workout, and keeping a food journal, and working on mind& muscle exercises in another journal, it was just too many journals.

This week is the first week i have felt awesome since my surgery. Last week i did cardio nearly every day, but no lifting.

This week I have done biking everyother day and kickboxing in-between days. Also back to lifting - which feels great!
My diet is back on track and I am amazed, as usual, how just one week of eating clean can change how I feel physically and mentally. I am considering a show in June, or October, depending on whther the June is tested or not (if it isn't, I don't know if I will bother). meanwhile i am getting ripped up just or the sheer pleasure of being big and muscular and hopefully I will run a boot camp program this summer.

This week lifting was kind of reintroducing my muscles to it all.
Upper body on Tuesday, did pushups, dumbbell presses with a twist on the swiss ball, one arm rows, back extensions, bicep curls, triceps pushdowns with the rope, and lateral raises. Pyramided up in weight each set. Felt really good.

Lower body on Thursday - really feeling my extra weight in my knees lately - did dumbbells squats, deadlifts, and one-legged calf raises with kickboxing in-betwen sets. Again pyramid sets.

Today is Saturday and I am going to do upper body again, maybe some boxing, too. Love that! Didn't sleep well last night(daughter had 2 friends overnight), so I will stick with a basic reconditioning workout again. One move per muscle group, focus on form and intensity raise weight each set.
