Okay, I just started on this site and I think that I am ready to proceed with getting rid of this extra fat and start get some of the muscle that I lost back. Had been working for months last year to lose weight that had be growing on me and was getting really frustrated because I was eating right and walking and swimming and doing all types of things to try and lose the fat. I finally brought up the fact that I was actually gain weight and it was showing up as an increase in my body fat percentage to my doctor and he asked if I had noticed anything else going on in my life. The only other thing that I had noticed was that my sleep was getting worse and that I just was not into having sex anymore. I just thought that it was because I was getting depressed about being so fat. Turns out that I have not been producing the testosterone needed to be healthy. Everything else is fine, I just do not have the Testosterone. Well, after months of working with my doctor we have finally got the levels balanced and I am ready to start again in gaining the muscle back and get rid of the 105 lbs. of fat that is sticking to me (or at least part of it.) I have decided that I am not concerned with weight numbers just body fat percentage. My doctor and I have confirmed that I do have a large body frame and that the 154 to 162 lbs. is an unreasonable weight for me, (not to mention that is what I weight when I got out of the Marine Corps and everyone side that I looked really sick.) So every two weeks or so I am going to be getting the body fat percentage check at my doctors office and we will see how it goes. If any of you guys out there have noticed the same trouble or if you know that you have a lack of testoserone please drop me a line. I have not found anyone to talk with about what is going on. I look forward to hearing from supportive and friendly members on this site.
