Squats via the Jay-Challenge
warm up barx10 65x10
95x10 105x10 115x10 125x10 135x10 145x10 155x10 165x10 175x10 185x9
Machine hamstring curls- not sure of the weight used new machine in a new Y I got 4 sets for 10, 10, 8, 6 reps
Barbell curls-45x10 65x10 85x6
DB curls-35x10 40x10 45x8
Highlights: Had a great squat workout just missed the 10th rep on the last set.
Lowlights: None
Side notes: One is I was using the squat rack for a while. I was on the 4 set and Had just ADDED weight. This stick girl/personal trainer lady is training a client and is talking up exercise ball crunches. The ball in question is next to the rack she walks over to get it. SHe had just WATCHED me add weight to the bar and as she is setting the ball INSIDE the rack (I wanted to go nuts!!), turns to me, I am all red faced and sweaty, little out of breath, and asks "oh, are you still using this?" DUH you stupid moron I ALWAYS add weight to a bar before leaving.
Second thing is I held back cause I have made it a policy not to give advice to adults, but saw this guy doing DB rows with 25lb DB. I call it the "Quasimodo Row". MY GOD his upper back was all hunched up and his ROM was about 6 inches......I stood there just biting my tounge. But as an adult it is his duty to learn how to do things...
