AM cardio - 30 minutes Heart Rate Hills program on elliptical
Workout:
Chest/calves
DB Incline presses 30'sX12, 35'SX10, 40"sX8 - easier than last week
Barbell incline presses 75X12, 85X10, 95X8
flat flyes 15'sx12, 20'sX10, 25#platesX8 (some guy was using the 25's, and using them, and using them....had to improvise)
Calf raises - straight-leg toe presses on leg press 55X15, 85X15, 100X15
Seated calf raises, Dbs on knees, toes on plates 25'sX15, 35'sX15, 45'sX15
I had to improvise on the calf exercises - I was checking out a new gym branch, it had no steps, no seated calf raise...It did have some nice cardio equipemnt, though. My workout felt short, so i went ahead and did my 2nd cardio right after my workout:
PM cardio 5 minutes startrac stairclimber, 20 minutes intervals on startrac elliptical. these machines have built in fans - pretty nice!
Food for Monday:
6:30
1 scoop isopure, coffee, splenda
8:00
Shake:
1/3c oats
1/4c blueberries, 4 frozen strawberries
1 1/2 scoops isopure
1 tbsp Udo's 3-6-9 oil
11:00
1 green apple
1 can tuna
1/4c walnuts
Walden farms Honey Dijon Dressing
2:10
2 slices brown rice bread
3 slices turkey
Tbsp Guacamole, smear lite mayo, lettuce
raw cauliflower and broccoli (ate about 1/2c, couldn't eat anymore, sometimes you can and sometimes you can't eat raw cauliflower:) ), WF ranch dip
Workout&Cardio
5:30
maple sausage (too much fat)
1/2c baked beans
romaine and radicchio slald with 3 croutons, lite caesar dressing
8:30
SF pudding
1 scoop isopure
Tbps Udo's 3-6-9 oil
Things I did right today:
1) Bundled up and went to the dog park.
2) Tried a new gym location...
3) Had fun on new cardio equipment.
4) Bought some new grains to try for more variety in my diet.
