My favorite workout of the week...

Getting through Tuesday's workout feels like such an accomplishment and I always feel so good when I'm done. I swear, after the squats, lunges and step ups, the sl dead lifts are a picnic.

Squats -- 3 sets 12x115 superset with 3 sets of 20 plie squats

Walking lunges -- 3 sets 12x20's superset with 3 sets 20 jumping squats (as always, a short pause at 10, then again at 15 except for the last set where I pushed myself straight through for the last ten after my initial pause).

Step ups -- 3 sets 12x20's superset with 3 sets 15 reverse lunges (each side). Didn't cheat on the step ups...for each set I actually completed 12 step ups on each leg for 24 total steps). Step I used was a little lower than usual.

SLDL's--3 sets 12x85 superset with 3 sets 20 swiss ball hip extensions.

Didn't do the calves as I actually did them yesterday while waiting for an incline bench to open up. Also, no cardio today. I had to do my workout this evening as I overslept this morning by 30 minutes and knew I wouldn't have time to complete the grueling butt (turkey and stuffing) blaster.
