My least favourite day

I was right, I would be sore today after doing chest and abs yesterday! Still, no excuses. Time to workout a different muscle group. Ugh.

I did 20 minutes of cardio on a stationary bike. How do you not get bored doing cardio at the gym? My little TV wasn't working today so I looked at the clock for entertainment.

Afterwards I did abs. Crunches and leg kicks. Then my head decided to ache but I drank heaps of water and pushed through it.

I did shoulders. Now I don't know why we have shoulders. I hate shoulders...a lot. If it were up to me I will always skip shoulders...I don't get why there's facebook memes saying, "Don't skip leg day!" I love leg day! I think it should be, "Don't skip shoulder day, Kat!" But yeah, I did seated shoulder presses, then lateral raises with 1 kg dumbbells hahaha. It was hard! You have no idea how weak my shoulders are! I think I should lift grapes instead! All throughout my exercises I gritted my teeth and grunted with these tiny dumbbells. I wonder what the meat heads at the gym thought of me.

Finally I did yoga for 10 minutes. Ahhhh nothing to complain about there. It was difficult but amazing.

    I hate cardio in the gym as well. It's complete misery! I'm looking forward to the trails drying up so I can head outdoors - at least then, I wont be staring at a clock/watch lol

    I love shoulder day. I hate leg day but we are pretty serious dancers so I do it. We have our gym in a big garage with a 50 inch TV. Glee on Netflix is wonderful for working out but in your gym, how about an iPod?
