New workout routine
It didn't start out so well. My new car (Ford Escort -88) needs a new right indicator lamp holder, and yesterday we tried to fix it in the rain :-( It didn't work and in frustration we had to give up, realising we didn't have the proper tools or the proper weather.
So this morning, I was all set, my gym bag packed as usual, and on my way to work I met one of my commuter buddies, and told him about my car. He said he could help me, because he had had one, but an -89. That was an offer I couldn't refuse, obviously, so instead of going to the gym, I went straight home after work. After working on the car, this time in the night and with snow!, we got as far as we could, and decided to put it on hold until next week, when we can use my commuter buddy's garage. It's great to have friends like that!
So... what about my workout? Well... part of it consists of recistance band exercises, and I was planning on doing those with mashines isntead, but I have the bands at home, so I did all the band exercises for the week tonight, and tomorrow I'll do the rest of the workouts for today and tomorrow at the gym. Thursday workout isn't affected. Not the best start, but it should be OK anyway. As for cardio... I ride my bike every workday, and today it was a pretty strong wind in my face when I was in a hurry to get to the train, so I'm all set there as well. Tomorrow I'll use the trampoline.
