Rest day

Well, end of first cycle of contest training. Taking advantage of rest days while still able to. Another month or so, and I will be adding in cardio, and the rest days will get fewer and farther between. But for now, it is good. Cranked up the workout intensities, this in itself should be a decent caloric deficit to start, and will keep proceeding.

Thought it may be an appropriate time to post my diet for anyone who cares to view it. Right now this is a 250 calorie deficit from 3 weeks ago. I upped my exercise this week for caloric deficit, as you may know, you cannot keep cutting calories forever, so you have to be smart. I would much rather increase my caloric output than constantly cut calories. Much saner and smarter to do. More calorie cuts will come later, at a slow, steady pace. Timing my diet for March 13th contest. Meal 1...1/2 c. oatmeal, 1 GoLean blueberry waffle, 4 eggwhites, 1 whole egg, 1/2 scoop ON whey, 1/4 cup blueberries. Meal 2...post workout...1 1/2 tbsp. dextrose, 2 tbsp. malto, 1 scoop Mass Maker, 2 scoops Optimum Whey Meal 3...post workout meal....6 oz. chicken breast, 2 eggwhites, 1/2 cup beans or 5 oz. sweet potato, 1 cup veggies Meal 4...1 1/2 scoop ON whey, 1/4 c. eggwhite, 1 tbsp. flax oil, 1 c. veggies Meal 5...6 oz. chicken breast or other lean meat, 1/2 c. beans, 1 cup veggies Meal 6...6 oz. chicken breast or other lean meat or fish, 1 cup veggies, 1 cup salad with oil based dressing, 1 tbsp. flax oil or 1 oz. walnuts Meal 7...before bed....3 oz. chicken breast, large salad with oil based dressing, 1 tbsp. flax oil, 4 eggwhites with salsa. I take 3 dessicated liver and 2 mass aminos with each meal. I take a multi vitamin with my first meal, 1000 mg. vit. C post training and one more time druing the day, along with B-complex 100. I take Vit. E with my first "fat based" meal. I also take creatine post workout.
