Well, my father-in-law passed away yesterday, it's been a very tough 6 weeks for everyone and we're all going to miss him very much! My youngest daughter is taking it pretty hard and it breaks my heart to see her so sad, but she'll get thru this. I spent last evening pulling together a slide show with pics for the funeral on Saturday, it was both sad and heartening to go thru so many photos. In the end he went peacefully and it's a blessing that he didn't have to hang on any longer (he suffered heart failure last week but they brought him back, I believe we really lost him that day, but he hung on for another week-although never regained conciousness, until we felt it was best to leave naturally)

Life does go on, I'm back at work to again "feed" my equipment, but I'm off to Niagara Falls to be with my inlaws and multitude of extended family. The funeral service will actually be one hell of a party, he was a very loved man. It's a bit of a double whammy for us because I lost my own Dad 11 years ago this same time of year, he was only 59.
