Saturday!

Got up and had 1 scoop syntrax whey protein in water, rushed to the gym to get on the stepmill - wouldn't you know it, one guy in the place and he is on the stepmill! So, I changed shoes, I got my water bottle, he is still on it...I did a 5 minute demo program on the treadclimber, and he is still on the stepmill. So, fine, I do a 20 minute program on the treadclimber(WHEW!)and he is STILL!!! on the stepmill. So I go to cool-down and stretch, use the bathroom, stretch some more, he is finally off the stepmill and...going to work legs. Friggin' idiot. Anyhow, now I have to figure out how early I will have to get there to beat him to that stepmill next Saturday...
So - Saturday workout - cardio only, 25 minutes total on treadclimber. My heart rate was 165-180 the whole time (new activity and like climbing a hill).
Saturday food:
6:30
1 scoop Syntrax nectar whey protein in water
on the way to the gym I picked up a diet vault soda and some gum....
8:45
1 egg, 4 whites, hot sauce
1 1/2c broccoli slaw
1/2 tsp garlic, 1 tsp olive oil
11:30
1 packet women's health shake
1 scoop isopure
1 tsp olive oil
really bad headache, felt like sinuses, took a nap.
2:45
buffalo burger
Walden Farms catsup (sugar free, calorie free)
1 bunch spinach, sauteed in 1 tsp olive oil, garlic, butter buds
my stomach reacted poorly to a whole bunch of spinach :(
so for dinner I just had a cup of cottage chees, and a slice of bacon stolen from my husband's plate (oops).
Later I was hungry - so I had a rice cake with peanut butter and strawberry all-fruit.
We had family over for card games and I indulged in popcorn, a few corn chips and diet pop. Nothing too deleterious.
Things I did right on Saturday:
1) Cardio, even though the machine I wanted was being used (oaf)
2) Rested when needed
3) Had game night without over-eating or drinking. :)
4) Still got to bed at a reasonable hour.
