She's Back.....well almost.....

I finally got to the gym today. Can't say I'm 100%, but at least 80%...well enough to get back to workouts..Yippy!! I can't believe how far I've fallen down the log list ): Anyhoo, I just did a relatively light workout with mostly compound moves...whole body. I'll get back to the challenge workouts next week...still need a bit of recovery time and I want to get some swims in as well this week, so don't want to overtax myself.

Today's workout:

4min on treadmill

Asst pull ups 3 sets 12, all at 90lb (~70lb wt)
Cable row, 3 sets 10, 50/60/70lb
Smith squats, 3 sets 12, all 75lbs
BB presses, 3 sets 12X45/10X55/8X55
EZ bar curls 3 sets 12 all 30lb
SL DL's 3 sets 12 45lb/65lb/85lb

stretch to cool down.

I felt I had enough strength today, but I'm really stiff from not working out. I'm going to continue with this kind of a workout for the rest of the week with some cardio thrown in on non-swim days. I'm going to try swim 2 nights this week(I usually try and get in 3/week. I will go to my Pilates tonight, but no swimming...I think that'll be more than enough for today.

My old trainer came up and asked if everything was OK, since he didn't see me in the gym last week....nice to know I was missed anyways....a few others gave me "knowing" nods...funny how you get used to seeing the same people at the gym.

Diet has been awful the past week. Back on track as of today.
