Steely vision

Well I have taken my first few steps, i have taken the very same few steps countless people take at the start of a new year, however i luckily dont see myself as someone as 'countless', I'm me and proud of it.  Not so proud of the lazy genes i have sometimes but meh im far from perrfic!!

I spent the last week in the gym, going from various exercise machines, cross trainers, rowers, treadmill etc with some weight exercises to let my body know what its in for but i was clueless how to set a program for myself!!   Ive worked out before with a friend who knew quite a lot so i knew what i had to do but to put it all together on paper was confusing..... until i found FT!!!!

Very very impressed with the ease of selecting a routine and as an added bonus it also shown stretch routines as well as the selection of abs exercises that can be done too :)

Not sure when i will update my flog but will try to do it when i have something more meaningful i guess, until then im going to settle into my new routine, eat properly and be back with good news i hope!! below is a copy of my "challenge" post that ive set and i encourage all of you to get in there and try something.  I may look at posting an article about achieving goals if i get time that i heard about the other day... until the all the best CL!!

    heres my challenge: Hi all I dont know if this is too easy but let me know if it is: I am currently 13st 10lbs, 5'10" tall and ideally i guess i would like to be around 12-13st?? So my challenge is to lose over 10lbs!! I have always kept my weight under control through smoking the last 20 years, ive quit for the last 12 weeks and the weight has piled on, xmas didnt help much either!!
