Friday was the most horrible day I've had in a very long time! When we got up in the morning Silvie was completely unable to get up, walk around or even just stand up on her own. One of the most heartbreaking things I've seen yet. We were sure the Vet would suggest to put her down, so we prepared ourselfs for the worst. Needless to say I cried all morning, stayed home from work. To our suprize the Vet didn't think it was time yet. He said old dogs are just like old people, lot's of health problems, but as long as they eat and drink, there's still time. So he gave us some pain meds for her. They do seem to work, but she still needs a little help getting around and the stairs are no longer possible. Hopefully she will improve some more. Every day is a blessing now.
