Today I was to do an upper body workout plus HIIT. Did the upper body, but my legs are too damn sore from the jump squats I did on Wed. to even attempt any HIIT today. We did a ton of kick sets in swimming last night, which probably helped loosen them up a bit, but today they are killing me!!
Todays Upper Body Workout:
4 min run on treadmill (5.5mph)
3 sets 10 full pushups
3 sets wide lat pull downs 60/70/80lb
3 sets BB press 55/65/65lb
3 SS 5lb dbl lat raises/front raises/curls (haven't done much isolation moves like these in a while...boy is my left shoulder weak!! I need to keep these in my routine to try and build the strength back into that shoulder! the front raises were a real bitch with my left side!)
3 sets 30lb EZ bar curls
3 sets seated cable rows NG 60/70/80lb
Lot's of stretching to cool down.
Back to work for lunch: homemade women's health hamburgers with lite shredded cheese, oatmeal, chopped spinach and egg all mixed in....yoummy...will definetly add these to my menus. Diet is still going very well.
