The first step
So, it's official now. I'm fully committing myself to doing this and getting myself into a more aesthetically pleasing shape than I am now. Confident I can deal with the 4 days a week training programme, and willing to throw everything into this venture providing I see some tangible results!
Motivation at the minute is high, which is at odds with my motivation for pretty much anything else at the minute (social interactions, Uni work etc.) Hoping exercise could be the distraction I'm looking for. And if motivation does prove to be an issue in the coming weeks and months, I can always let 'her indoors' know about my goals and schedule, and she will no doubt bully and nag at me constantly until I'm back on track!
All in all, I fully intend to see this through and hopefully set an example of when I put my mind to it, I can achieve pretty much anything I want. Don't know if I'm doing this for myself, or others. Maybe both. Hey, as long as I can make some changes for the better, who cares?
First workout starts Saturday. Wish me luck!
