...Thursday...only half day at work, but will still get in my workout!
It's a big day for my 13 year old today..she finally gets her braces off!! It is also her bday next weekend, so as a treat I'm going to take her to get the baces off at noon and then we're both going to get a haircut and enjoy the afternoon together. The weather is beautiful so I'm looking forward to the afternoon!
I was scheduled to swim with my masters club last evening, but the pool was closed due to a pump failure. I was pretty bummed, but instead of just writing off my workout (as I'd usually do) I went to my local rec centre where they had evening length swimming scheduled, and did my workout on my own. Yay me!! I had a great workout and now have a backup system if I miss a swim session!
Today i'll be going to the gym for workout A. If I remember correctly it goes something like this:
warmup
A1 Squats 3X12
B1 pushups 3X12
B2 seated rows 3X12
C1 step ups 3X10
C2 jacknife on ball 3X8
Cool down
Diet is still going very well. I'm eating the pumpkin bars I made as an after workout treat (primarily after my swimming) They are soooo yummy!!!
I may go to the 9pm masters swim tonight...if the pool is open and I'm not too wiped out from todays workout.
