time for a change

Hello everyone,
I am a 22 years old and I and 5'4'' and I currently weigh 178lbs.........
It is depressing for me to see myself so young and seeing how out of shape and fat I am.
I become motivated every now and then to lose the weight and I might keep up the
motivation for maybe a week, and then afterward it all jus dies down. I've never been skinny
but I have defenitely been slimmer than what I am now. Sometimes it upsets me that I have no
self motivation. I ask for motivation at home and on the contrary they repeat to me that I am
over weight (not in a bad way, but they still say it). I don't want to be super extremely skinny
to the point that I do not look like myself. I just want to be slimmer and not have the gut that
I have. I want to tighten my legs and arms, and just work on my cardio so that I do not
feel so out of breath all the time. I want to get to atleast 145-150 I think that would be my ideal
weight. I basically have myself for motivation and I just want ideas on how I can do it all on my own
and not give up easily. Any ideas?

    what ive done is post what i have done to reach my weight lose/ physical fitness goal on my face book page daily. When i dont post, i have friends and family making small comments about why no posts that day, it seems small, but the fact of just that little voice being there makes a difference.
