Tues. wts and cardio....almost feels like a rest day without my swimming
I'm pretty tired today..a good tired though. I think it is likely due to the fact that I didn't get to have a "proper" meal until almost 10pm, after my swimming. I munched a handful of almonds before my pilates, but that was it until 10pm.
Anyhoo, went to the gym, as usual and did my "required" workout...
arm circles and 3 sets 10 pushups (upper body warmup)
SS
4 sets 12 incline db presses (8lb/8lb/10lb10lb)
3 sets 12 incline flyes all 8lbs
3 sets pec dec 12X50/12X55/10X60
alternated
3 sets OH press 12X10lbs
3 sets lat raises (arms bent) 10lb
3 sets BB press 12X45/12X45/10X50 (funny to see the little 2.5lb plates on the bar-hehe)
3 sets tri kickbacks 12X10lb/10X10lb/8X15lb (alternated arms-no rest between)
3 sets tri pushdowns 12X40/10X45/8X50 (tri's spent after this!)
3 sets calf raises 12X60/12X80/12X100
no time for calf presses
HIIT on bike 8X1 min intervals. Set personal record for sweat pouring off me!
I like having the shorter cardio sessions, but boy do they get my heartrate up!
Diet:
2 turkey "muffins" + salsa (need to buy more salsa!)
oatmeal+protien
workout-wts+HIIT
chicken+br rice+squash/ red pepper
protien
1 Guinness -yes you read correctly!
Hubby and I are going out for a drink after the trick or treaters are gone. We haven't had much "quality" time together lately. I plan to burn off the carbs when we get home later (; (No need to repremand me for the drink...I never said I would quit, just planned to severely limit my consumption, besides, I could use the iron-Hehe)
