Tues: Wts today
I went swimming last night and a guy in my lane difted over to my side and wacked me in the fore arm...ouch...it's still swollen. Who'd though you could get battle wounds swimming! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to hold wts at the gym, but it was OK for the most part...worked thru the pain..I should really ice it now.
Anyhoo, here's what went down at the gym..it's great to be back...
3 min w/u on treadmill
body squats and pushups to warmup
3X12 SL DLs 50lb BB
SS
W Lat PD 3X50
OH press 3X 10lb dbls
SS
lunges 3X12 walking/bar/bar+double lunge
ball crunches 3X12
stetch to cool down
Nutrition:
8am: egg subs, cheese sting on small ww tortilla with salsa and an orange
10:30: orange and LF yogurt
12:00 workout
1:30 salad with feta and chicken + dressing
3pm homemade protien bar (recipe from gourmet noutrition; banana,lots of walnut meal, egg, vanilla protien powder, oatmeal and a dash of cinnamon. These are really good and not as dry as most bars I've made. There's a recipe for pumpkin squares that I want to try!
Beautiful day outside (10C and sunny...woohoo) I also bought myself some new pants yesterday that fit me better (no more muffin top) so I'm feeling 100% better about myself..At least I didn't have to buy a size bigger, just needed to find a better fit!
